Fantasy Golf Selections - Fedex St Jude Classic
Last week was a rough one for my fantasy golf selections.

David Toms is a two-time champion and career earnings leader at this evening. For just $16,300 he needs to be in your DraftDay lineups!
Conventional fantasy golf selections had a rough going in Muirfield for the Memorial Tournament. Let’s get back at it this week with the FedEx St. Jude Classic and make some cash. There is a 40% chance of storms each day this weekend, so let’s all hope this doesn’t affect our fantasy golf selections. That would just be a tragedy. What could be better than sitting back with a beverage, watching some golf, and playing fantasy while supporting a tournament that is raising money for children? It’s a good cause and my justification for playing fantasy golf all weekend.
The Fedex St. Jude Classic takes us to TPC Southwind, located in the gated community of Southwind in Memphis Tennessee. The course plays to a par-70, and its 94 bunkers and 10 water hazards place it as the ninth most difficult course on the PGA Tour. The 239-yard Hole 14 is renowned as one of the most challenging par-3′s in professional play. The 7,244 beauty features Bermuda grass on the greens and rough, while employing Zoysia for the tees and fairways.
DraftDay has a excellent assortment of games for the Fedex St Jude Classic, and I encourage all of you to join a contest now! The The $109 Angry Birdies is my favorite, and who wouldn’t want to take home $750 playing fantasy golf? I also love the $15 Mulligan and the $2.20 Big Easy.

Fantasy Golf Selections - Fedex St. Jude Classic
Paul Casey $17,650 - Casey is fresh off a T13 finish at the Memorial where he led at the midpoint. He has six top-20 finishes in just 10 events this year, quite the feat indeed.
Lee Westwood $19,600 - He won in his debut on this course and placed 11th the following year. He seems to love the challenging aspects that make it difficult for others. It doesn’t hurt that he has three top-10 finishes in his last five events either. Westwood is heating up, and I expect a big weekend.
David Toms $16,300 - There is zero chance you will find a lineup of mine without this guy on it. He is a two-time champion of this event after all. If that isn’t enough, he also has two runner-up finishes and is the all-time earnings leader as well.
David Hearn $13,800 - Hearn has made five consecutive cuts, and the price is great. He earned a T6 finish at The Players earlier this season, and he’s 4-for-4 in making the cut at TPC Southwind. This price is just too low to pass up. Hearn won’t carry your team to a large tournament win, but he should put up a respectable score and provide enough salary relief for the heavy hitters.
Robert Allenby $11,150 - This is a really off the board pick, and Allensby should be used in large tournaments only. He has not been good at all recently to put it a nice way. He does have eight top-20 finishes in 11 tries on this course though. There must be something about it that he loves. I will be playing him along with David Hearn, and loading up the rest of my lineup. If he makes the cut the score will easily justify this price tag.
Matt Every $16,350 - Here’s another tournament-only play, as it seems like he finishes in the top-10 or misses the cut completely. He has five top-10 finishes on the year already, and sports massive upside.
