Jered Weaver was a primary reason for many players success last night.
Thursday’s edition of the Field of Dreams is quite frankly your best bet to get yourself noticed tonight. It is an absolute fact, as true as the sun rising, that you will receive many compliments from me in my article tomorrow, even if you just get lucky. Get that money tonight folks. If money is tight, try out the Knuckleball with a top prize of $200. You can get in for only 15 bucks. I can sense your eyes widening in fear. I get it. You’re intimidated. Now everyone knows, so why not spend $15 on filing your wallet, rather than wasting it on two glasses of wine for a girl you really had no chance with anyway. Just watch baseball all night and make money. Spare yourself the embarrassment.
Here’s hoping you heeded the advice of the prophetic CrazyGabey, who touted Tyson Ross (36), Jered Weaver (50), Christian Yelich (37), and Pablo Sandoval (33) as his top plays. These guys together would have made damn sure that you had at least a solid night. Having a baseball mind equivalent to Nostradamus, CrazyGabey will be back at it tonight with his Five Guys article. Make sure you check it out and soak up all of the knowledge he is offering you out of the goodness of his beard.
DraftDay Field of Dreams Update
Big shoutout to lipsgardner (251), who took down the Field of Dreams last night (and a THOUSAND bucks), riding Nelson Cruz’s huge night (58 points) to the top spot. Jered Weaver was a main cog in the winning lineup as well, but he was nearly 61% owned. With the 50 he put up, he didn’t end up separating anyone from the pack, but was the top overall pitcher last night. Phil Hughes is back!! Or at least the Padres are still terrible. Either way, BrianH (234) managed a nice $600 payday as a result of a Hughes/Weaver combo, putting up a cool 95 points. Hughes was underowned at just 3.57%. Nice call BrianH. Remaining players in the crowded 2-6 spots included reztes757 (220), rrt7573 (219), hook2410 (218), and of course, runitup (212). Recent heroes reverted to zeroes as Howie Kendrick (2) and Troy Tulowitzki (-4) were the 3rd and 4th most popular position plays in the tournament. Don’t feel so bad, Tulo owners. David Ortiz and Jonny Gomes both posted -5 last night, so at least you dodged that bullet.
Fantasy Sports Live League Update
Join the Fantasy Sports Live League at DraftDay NOW!
The Fantasy Sports Live League was dominated last night by reneemiller (281), who dropped by to show all the guys who the real boss was. Her pitching scored only 45 total points, which just attests to the strength of her hitters. reneemiller had Five Guys (see what I did there?) who scored at least 27: Nelson Cruz (58), Garrett Jones (44) Derek Dietrich (43), Christian Yelich (37), and Adrian Gonzalez (27). Our second straight blowout win resulted in a 50 point discrepancy between reneemiller and TheLooch (231). TheDonkeys (221), rcf5415 (210), raygo (199), bsell25 (194), and Devilball420 (190) all found their way into the cash as well. We had a packed house, and hope for more of the same tonight. Utilizing DraftDay‘s flex buy-in feature, we overfilled the league!
