Today’s fantasy sports daily podcast thankfully survived the weekend.
If you’re wondering what I mean, roughly half the NFL was taken down by the injury bug this weekend. In what was dubbed “Sunday, Bloody Sunday” by Twitter commiserators, Justin and I were both just thankful to escape the weekend unscathed. No matter which way you looked, heavily rostered players were dropping like flies. A.J. Green, Jamaal Charles, and Robert Griffin III headlined the list. Even players who managed to stay healthy throughout their respective games killed DFS teams, including Marques Colston and Rob Gronkowski. Fortunately for the DFS community, it is almost over. Bring on Week 3!
We covered a TON of big winners from the weekend, recapping MLB, PGA, and CFB contests! Lots of money went out to these big winners over the weekend, and the best is yet to come! These diverse lineups just showed that you can find a way to be one of our featured winners tonight!
In today’s Vegas analysis, Justin and I uncovered some lines which were already experiencing some significant movement. The Padres line is steadily increasing, as well as the Royals line behind James Shields. There was one weather risk that I uncovered during my daily meteorological analysis, and that was the Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves game. We will be steadily monitoring this one as the day progresses, so tune in to the LIVE show for an update!
My Five Guys from Josh Shepardson’s Picks to Click for this fine Monday morning were Andrew Cashner, Matt Kemp, Devin Mesoraco, Edwin Encarnacion, and Evan Longoria. Justin chimed in with his Two Cents of Jacob deGrom and so viciously stole Corey Dickerson from me.
Justin and I noted that you NEED to have some exposure to the game in Coors Field between the Dodgers and Rockies. Not that you didn’t already know that, but just a reiteration. Make it happen!
We will see you bright and early tomorrow morning for some more great MLB analysis and a breakdown of Week 2 in the NFL!
