Fantasy Golf Plays - The Greenbrier Classic
This week’s fantasy golf plays take on one of the tour’s easiest courses.
Last week went pretty well except for the high risk play of Tiger Woods in my tournaments. The value plays really paid off though and carried my team to victory. Let’s keep it rolling!
This week’s tournament finds our fantasy golf plays attacking The Old White TPC at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The course is widely regarded as one of the easiest par-3s on the tour, and is a very recent addition the PGA schedule. It runs 7,287 yards, and won’t be difficult to navigate.
Join me in the $109 Angry Birdies, the $15 Mulligan, or the $2.20 Big Easy depending on your price point of choice.
Fantasy Golf Plays - The Greenbrier Classic
Brendon de Jonge is my favorite DraftDay value pick for just $12,600.
Chris Kirk $16,250 - There will not be a roster of mine without him. He has made 21 consecutive cuts, and the asking price is just too low. He’s an excellent cash game play with his increased consistency.
Marc Leishman $17,050 - Leishman is playing extremely well right now. Fresh off a third place finish I’m looking for him to have another great weekend. The asking price is still not grouped with the other top plays, and that means he comes in at a great value.
Brendon de Jonge $12,600 - He’s almost another must play for me. Eighth place last week to compliment his eight straight cuts made makes this salary extremely appealing. He has also made the cut all four times at this event too.
Brendon Todd $ 18,200 - Todd is on a major heater. In his last five starts he has four top-10 finishes, and a 17th place. That makes him one of the safest plays on the board for your cash games. Fade at your own risk.
Steve Stricker $17,300 - This is the most intriguing play of the weekend. He doesn’t play many tournaments, but when he does he is damn good. He has four top-25 finishes in his last four events, but has only played in seven events total this year. It’s tough to gauge whether or not his game will be on.
