Five Guys Top Expert Daily NBA Plays 3-4-14
Tonight’s top expert daily NBA plays will look to uncover the truth behind the legend!
Last night was a fun evening in the Association, as multiple players went off for monster performances. It made for a fanboy’s dream, and thankfully one of those titanic outings was by none other than our top play Tyreke Evans. The concern coming into yesterday was his history of inconsistency, but our projection held true as the stud point forward logged 40 minutes en route to a bloated 28-10-8 stat line.
Tonight we’ll turn our attention to an old wive’s tale, looking to see if there’s a shred of truth behind the myth. I’m of course talking about bobblehead night, which along with birthdays, revenge games, and the like have firmly entrenched themselves into daily fantasy folklore. Regardless though, our featured player this evening is in a prime spot to produce, and I’m not so sure he’ll need the added help to begin with.

Five Guys Top Expert Daily NBA Plays
Kyrie Irving $12,500 - I probably spoiled the surprise with my above touting, but Irving registers as a solid discount with his deflated price tag tonight. He comes into the evening averaging over 40 fantasy points in his last four games, and if there’s one area of weakness in the Spurs defensive armor it’s the point guard position. Irving has historically performed better in Cleveland, and along with his bobblehead night that means we could be in for quite the show.
Dwyane Wade $11,300 - I’ll be the first to admit, I didn’t think Wade had his recent run left in the tank. After Sitting out almost as many games as he played to start the year, Wade is currently averaging 23.5 points on 62.1% shooting over his past four games. He sat out last night in anticipation of this evening’s tilt with the Rockets, and Houston has been a sieve against opposing shooting guards all season. Expect big things from Mr. Wade tonight.
James Harden $13,400 - On the other side of the ball we find an underpriced gem in Harden, who’s current price tag has yet to chase down his newfound uptick in production. Struggling to start 2014, Harden has restored his health and is now playing at an elite level once again. A tired Heat team that doesn’t mind pushing the pace is a perfect fit for his frenetic skill set.
Tyreke Evans $8,600 - Hello Mr. Evans, good to see you again. After looking sharp in his first three starts, there’s no reason the Tyreke era should slow down this evening. I normally wouldn’t be so high on a player competing in his third game in four nights — especially one who has played 116 minutes in that span — but this is the Lakers we’re talking about. You have to watch a game to truly appreciate how lost they are defensively, as having D-League caliber players and a coach uninterested in teaching defense do not make for a solid combo.
Dwight Howard $13,100 / Omer Asik $4,700 - Dwight Howard is questionable for tonight’s tilt with Miami. As Al Jefferson showed last night, the Heat are terrible against true centers, and that means whichever of these options suit up should be in line for a big evening.
