Tonight’s expert daily NBA top plays feature a pair of underpriced studs!
We talked last week about a topic near and dear to my heart — bankroll management. If you haven’t checked it out yet I recommend you do so here. Daily fantasy basketball is a game heavily predicated on skill, but the lost element of long-term success is the ability to cultivate a healthy, growing source of daily fantasy funding. If you ever have questions about bankroll management feel free to ask in the comments below or hit me up on Twitter.
Tonight sees two of our expert daily NBA top plays finding the perfect storm of conditions for a massive outing. Matchups are paramount in daily fantasy basketball, and when you can take advantage of that in conjunction with discounted salaries you’re in an excellent position to succeed! Let’s move forward and take a look at tonight’s expert daily NBA top plays.
Five Guys Expert Daily NBA Top Plays
Kemba Walker $10,800 - Walker has historically performed much better at home, and after gliding on cruise-control for a couple weeks after returning from injury he appears to finally be rounding back into form. It couldn’t be happening at a better time, as the Denver Nuggets have proven to be a solid matchup for opposing point guards this season. Walker is averaging 19 points and 10 assists during the Bobcats six-game home winning streak, and all indicators point towards a huge game.
Marcus Thornton $5,400 - Selecting the “price play” is something I could go on and on about for hours. When you play daily fantasy basketball it’s necessary to think in the context of the stock market. In that light, finding undervalued assets is key. The Nets didn’t trade for Thornton so he could waste away on the bench, and that vote of confidence has done wonders for the streaky scorer. He’s certainly volatile, but at this price you can afford to take the hit if he underperforms.
Tobias Harris $9,600 - REVENGE! It’s not something I base my fantasy evaluations on too often, but Tobias was buried on the depth chart of a bad team before finally being traded to Orlando. There’s clearly some small part of him that wants to show the Bucks what they missed out on, and it doesn’t help that Milwaukee’s interior defense is porous. Tobias is averaging 21.3 point and 11.3 boards in his last three meetings with his former team.
Al Jefferson $13,500 - For all the reasons I love Kemba Walker, I also love Big Al. Jefferson is too skilled and too big for anyone on the Denver roster to hang with, and the pace of this game should elevate his already elite level of play to new heights. This could easily be one of Big Al’s patented 60 fantasy point monsters.
Nikola Vucevic $11,400 - Vucevic is back to his rare ways, consistently churning out double-doubles. His stat lines against the Bucks in recent meetings have been enough to salivate over, and things aren’t looking any better in Milwaukee.
