Five Guys Daily Basketball Expert Top Plays 3-26-14
Tonight’s daily basketball expert top plays feature excellent mid-range value.
Changing roles are always key elements to predicting daily basketball expert top plays, and if you pay attention you’ll often find discrepancies in salary fluctuation. We have a few instances of this tonight, as a couple players are simply too cheap considering their recent performances. The roles have changed with their respective teams, and that makes them inherently safe from the inconsistency that plagued them previously. With that in mind we’ll take a look at our daily basketball expert top plays in just a moment.
Did you join my Five Guys Double-Up last night? I’m running a daily tournament Monday through Friday that operates as a normal double-up. The catch you ask? The top five players each night will be entered into an exclusive freeroll at the end of the week! I’m challenging you to become one of our 25 freeroll participants by entering tonight and battling it out with me.
Five Guys Daily Basketball Expert Top Plays
Andre Drummond $11,200 - Drummond suffered a scary neck injury just a few weeks ago, but all’s well that ends well. The emerging interior stud appears to be fully recovered, and he’s back to his old tricks of high output. The matchup tonight is sweet with Spencer Hawes and Anderson Varejao, and Drummond is averaging 19.7 points and 13.0 rebounds in his last three meetings with the Cavaliers. For this upper mid-range salary he should have no trouble hitting value.
Dion Waiters $10,400 - Waiters is a ball-dominant guard, and while we all knew that Kyrie Irving was holding him back to some extent I don’t think anyone had this in mind. Averaging 25.5 points on 50.6% shooting with 5.3 assists over his last four games, Dion has firmly planted himself in the discussion for top shooting guard play every time he touches the court. The price tag still has not caught up with his increased productivity, and it would benefit you to continue targeting him until it rises to a fair point.
Tyreke Evans $11,400 - After falling victim to Monty Williams’ whim for much of the season, Tyreke has now been handed the keys to the Pelicans offense — and to great effect! His numbers and minutes have been eye-popping since entering the starting lineup as a point-forward, and budding superstar Anthony Davis has responded to playing alongside him as well, posting ridiculous numbers. Though his price has seen a significant shift upwards, it’s still nowhere near the statistics he continues to post.
Eric Bledsoe $10,000 - Bledsoe is back, and if his accelerated re-acclamation continues he’ll soon be better than ever. Scoring at least 20 points in three straight games, Bledsoe has also seen his minutes normalize between 35-40 over the past three contests. At this price point it’s extremely hard to say no, especially with the Suns fighting desperately to qualify for the playoffs.
DeMarcus Cousins $13,000 - Cousins has been an absolute behemoth the last seven games, posting as many double-doubles while averaging 22.3 points and 14.1 rebounds. He’s one of a handful of daily basketball expert top plays you expect to go for 40-plus fantasy points every night, and his opponent is a physically tired and emotionally drained Knicks squad. I’ll buy in on this discounted salary.
