DraftDay Update
Today is one of those rare days where we have two slates of MLB action to play with, and that means double the opportunity to make money! DraftDay‘s goal is to make your otherwise monotonous Wednesday into a memorable one, and the Fantasy Sports Live Podcast is here to make it profitable! Starting at the top, we have the $109 Field of Dreams, which boasts a $1,000 prize pool in the afternoon, and another $1,500 tonight. If that number is a little high for you, the $15 Knuckleball may be just right. $750 will be awarded this afternoon, and another $1,000 tonight. My favorite is the $3.30 Wiz Walkoff, which offers a $400 prize pool in the early slate, then comes back with another $600 up for grabs tonight. Looking toward the future, there are Qualifiers you can enter for as little as $5.50 that will send you straight to tomorrow’s $109 Field of Dreams. Don’t get caught being the person who would rather spend that money on lottery tickets with hopes of hitting it big. Spoiler alert: You won’t ever win the lottery. Take your six bucks, enter a Qualifier, win the Field of Dreams, and live in infamy. You’ll not only win big money, you’ll get your name shouted out by CrazyGabey and myself on the Daily Fantasy Sports Podcast AND you’ll have 50 cents left over. I just blew your mind.
$109 Field of Dreams
In Tuesday’s Field of Dreams, TwoGun was the big winner. Not only did he take first place with a 298, but he also took second place at 221. Stephen Strasburg (48) and Jayson Werth (54) bolstered both lineups, and Kyle Seager (63) was responsible for the big difference in scores. Coming in third was exarezee (220), followed by Mirage88 (218), and Golf_Coach (210).
$15 Knuckleball
TwoGun continued his reign of terror last night, rolling to a Knuckleball win as well behind his same 298-point lineup. Jordanh415 came in 2nd place behind James Jones (47) and Adrian Gonzalez (38). Rounding out the top five were Emac (251), dooger1234 (239), and cshaw420 (234).
$3.30 Wiz Walkoff
I’ve got to give some props to Mattmsk001 (277) for rostering Rick Porcello, who managed 43 points during his complete game despite somehow managing ZERO strikeouts. We’ve talked on the Daily Fantasy Sports Podcast about how rare games like that truly are. Either way, nice call by Mattmsk001 during the victory. The proverbial silver medal went to TheHoiPolloi (264), followed by Jfand30 (259), carterh21 (254), and Emac (251).
