Fantasy Sports Live Podcast 6-6-14
The Fantasy Sports Live Podcast will guide you through a huge night in daily fantasy baseball.
While you’re listening to the Fantasy Sports Live Podcast, head to DraftDay for some insane action. Tonight’s $5,000 edition of the $109 Field of Dreams sports a first place prize of $2,000. If you want to take a shot at the big time for only a few bucks, you can and WILL enter a Qualifier for the Field of Dreams. This can be accomplished for as little as $5.50. If the higher buy-in is out of your price range, no problem. Take the $15 you were going to bet on California Chrome in tomorrow’s Belmont Stakes, with a whopping current payout of $9 for the win, and invest it in the $15 Knuckleball. Top prize is $500, so you’re basically giving yourself a chance at an additional $491. I’m pretty good at math, and I figured this one out for you. You’re welcome. Looking for a smaller stakes game? The $3.30 Wiz Walkoff is perfect for DFS players of any level or experience. You can enter up to 15 times, and top prize is $100. This is a game that I am in every single day, as even with a modest bankroll I can enter multiple lineups with all my favorite players. Pack a lunch today and use the money you were going to waste on carcinogenic food at McDonald’s to enter the Wiz Walkoff. You won’t regret it. Hell, you might even live longer.
DraftDay Update
$109 Field of Dreams
On a night devoid of solid pitching options, MrWonderful (221) parlayed 24 total points from his hurlers into the top spot in the Field of Dreams. Chris Owings‘ continued power surge was the difference, as he posted the high point total of the night with 63. Following closely behind were quietwinner (214), hoop2410 (210), Boc4life (207), and Mirage88 (196). Top five each day receive EXCLUSIVE shoutouts from CrazyGabey and I on the Fantasy Sports Live Podcast, so get to winning!
$15 Knuckleball
Despite only nine points from his starting pitchers, jordanh415 (310) managed to have one hell of a night on the strength of Oswaldo Arcia (54), Miguel Montero (43), and three others who posted at least 31 points. Rounding out the top five in the Knuckleball were prestameco (300), naapstermaan (282), Ab13 (274), and Schmitcj (260).
$3.30 Wiz Walkoff
Naapstermaan (282) was another benefactor of huge nights from Oswaldo Arcia and Chris Owings, as he took down the Wiz Walkoff. In a closely contested leaderboard, JohnnyVegas (265), riwish3 (265), STLintheATL (262), and Anthony (261) closed out the top spots.
Coming Up Today
Josh Shepardson will be back today with the final episode of his Picks to Click for the week. This guy has been a machine, pumping out incredible picks each and every day. Last night, he told you to play Miguel Montero (43), and the top play of the evening, Chris Owings (63). These guys were mainstays on most of the top lineups, and for good reason. We cover a few of his plays each day on the Fantasy Sports Live Podcast, but we save plenty of goods for you to discover by reading the full article..
Fantasy Sports Live League Update
Join the Fantasy Sports Live League now and earn your place on the League Leaderboard!
One of my favorite segments on each day’s Fantasy Sports Live Podcast is recapping CrazyGabey‘s daily league. Last night‘s top spot was shared by the Field of Dreams champion, MrWonderful (221), and MattTruss223 (221). SirMalcolm (199), TheLooch (197), and frdozer (194) rounded out the last three spots. Each night, CrazyGabey hosts this league with a 50/50 format, and the top 5 finishers receive entry into an exclusive freeroll on Saturday. Tonight is your last chance to get in for this week. If you hate free money, disregard this message. If you want a chance to take some of CrazyGabey‘s cash, we had better see you there.
