DraftDay Update
Friday is here, and with it comes a 14-game slate for daily fantasy baseball. This gives us daily fantasy players even more opportunities to win money at DraftDay. If you are like the vast majority of Americans, your paycheck was direct-deposited in your account this morning. Don’t lie. You can reach deep and pony up $109 to enter the Field of Dreams tonight. Win first place, and you can buy yourself a boat. I’ve always wanted to own a boat, and if you haven’t, you’re either aquaphobic or un-American. For those of you middle-class spenders, or “strategic wagerers”, as CrazyGabey so eloquently puts it, the $15 Knuckleball is here for you. First place is $250 on this great Friday evening, and you could use the money to fund one hell of a weekend. Not a partier? Put the money in your kid’s college fund. I don’t care. Just win some damn money. My personal favorite, and a tournament I plan on winning tonight is the $3.30 Wiz Walkoff. You can enter this bad boy a ton of times, and make a nice little return on investment. You can’t win if you don’t play.
$109 Field of Dreams
On a night that was mostly devoid of high scorers, Zack Wheeler (Not Zach, Twitter people) led the way with 67 points via his complete game shutout. Redemption72 (256) used his performance to run away with first place in the Field of Dreams last night. Runitup (193), MD0530 (191) and TNews (172) also walked away a little closer to retirement.
$15 Knuckleball
Runitup (255) ran out the combo of Zack Wheeler and Chris Archer (49), and just barely outlasted Schmitcj (253) in the Knuckleball, followed by madnkrazy (212), UpperDeckers (211), and Mouthybitch (209).
$3.30 Wiz Walkoff
Double shoutout for zimdogg and whosurpaddy (251), who tied atop the leaderboard in the Wiz Walkoff following Dustin Pedroia’s ninth inning double. Njrajf (248), stephen9678 (248), and cwolford (242) rounded out the top five.
Fantasy Sports Live League Update
Join the Fantasy Sports Live League now and qualify for Saturday’s exclusive freeroll!
Pnbohannon (207), despite only 35 points from his pitchers, rode dongs from Edwin Encarnacion, Yoenis Cespedes, and Dustin Pedroia to the top of CrazyGabey’s Five Guys league. FantasyDrive (194), MD0530 (191), some douche named BigItaly42 (186), and Schmitcj (184) all clinched the opportunity of a lifetime with entry into Saturday’s freeroll.
Today’s Strategy Articles
If you STILL aren’t reading Josh Shepardson’s Picks to Click article each day, stop reading this and go there NOW. The guy is a prophetic genius. Yes, he told you to play Zack Wheeler (67) last night. I wasn’t even convinced, but went that route anyway, and it was the difference between cashing and losing for me. We were all high on David Wright, and Josh’s analysis just proved that he was the “Wright” way to go. He homered in his first at bat to save you the suspense. Either way, make it a habit to check that out each day. Your wallet will forever be in his debt. Not really though, the information is free. DO IT.
