Fantasy Sports Live Podcast 6-19-14
The Fantasy Sports Live Podcast will help you navigate Thursday’s tricky split slate.
Podcast Guest: Murphy Wolford
Joining CrazyGabey and myself on today’s podcast is Murphy Wolford, AKA cwolford on DraftDay. Murphy took down the $15 Knuckleball two nights ago, and aside from the glory and accolades, he also took home $500! He had a unique introduction into the world of daily fantasy sports, so tune in and hear his story.
DraftDay Update
There are only four games on the early slate, and seven games stashed away for us this evening. This gives you ample opportunity to make money with your DFS lineups ALL DAY LONG. DraftDay’s “Granddaddy of them all”, the $109 Field of Dreams, is a great way to bring home the big bucks. Can’t pony up the cash? Don’t worry. You can enter via a $5.50 Qualifier and play with the big boys (and girls) tomorrow night. The $15 Knuckleball is a very economic option, and one that anyone could take down on any given night. Take your shot and tonight could be the night where everyone learns to fear your name. For the price of a shopping spree at your local 99 cent store, you could bring home $100! Sure, six-piece puzzles and coffee mugs with lopsided designs are cool, but you don’t need that crap. Go home and enter the $3.30 Wiz Walkoff. You’ll thank me later, and maybe CrazyGabey and I will be telling the world your story soon on the Fantasy Sports Live Podcast!
$109 Field of Dreams
If you were wondering how many points a pitcher earns from a no-hitter with 15 strikeouts, that answer is 97. Last night’s Field of Dreams Champion, ALLOFIT29 (241), was one of the many who rostered Clayton Kershaw during his epic performance. BiggSteve31 (237), Mirage88 (233), and MrWonderful (231) all took home some cash as well.
$15 Knuckleball
Jordanh415 (284) posted a tremendous score on a short slate, winning the Knuckleball last night despite not having a single player hit a dong. Radthad (279), VictoryCruz (261), TNews (259), and iSplashRollz (255) rounded out the top five.
$3.30 Wiz Walkoff
More Kershaw at the top in last night’s Wiz Walkoff, as richycee (284) outlasted radthad (279), WildWildWes (277), DeathSkulz (265), and garyeye1 (264) to take down the big bucks.
Fantasy Sports Live League Update
Join the Fantasy Sports Live League now!
Nedjays (257) was the top dog in last night’s edition of Five Guys, followed by iSplashRollz (255), bsell25 (241), Cincygross (226), and our very own JoshShep50 (222). As you may have expected, each of those lineups included some guy named Kershaw. Get yourself in tonight’s game and beat the Fantasy Sports Live team for some bragging rights. If you finish in the top five you’ll earn a spot in Saturday’s freeroll!
Today’s Strategy Articles
Josh Shepardson is here as always to bring you his Picks to Click article, which is my favorite daily strategy piece! He gave you some very valid reasons to play Khris Davis last night, and the young slugger posted 43 points! Hopefully you took down notes while class was in session. Take advantage and read it now!
