Fantasy Sports Live Podcast 6-10-14
The Fantasy Sports Live Podcast is here to help you cash in on Tuesday’s MLB slate.
Tuesday evening brings you the $5,000 edition of the $109 Field of Dreams, with $2,000 for first place and $1,000 for second! You don’t even have to take down first place to become a thousandaire tonight! You can also enter Qualifiers for as little as $5.50, and we all know that $5.50 won’t change your life. But $2,000 might. Throw an entry in there and make it happen. If you just can’t manage the triple-digit buy-in, but have big money taste, the $15 Knuckleball is perfect for you. Turn your $15 into $500 and use that money to take dad out for a nice steak dinner this weekend. You may even have some left over to buy yourself an autographed Lonnie Chisenhall bat for cheap. If he makes it into the Hall of Fame you’re set. The $3.30 Wiz Walkoff costs less than the price of a Whopper, and Whoppers are old news anyways. Odds are, if you buy a Whopper, you’ll end up taking no more than two bites before you squeeze ketchup onto your shirt. Don’t ruin your shirt on your lunch break. Get in the Wiz Walkoff tonight and turn that chump change into $100! As always, the winners get a shoutout from CrazyGabey and I on the Fantasy Sports Live Podcast! You DO want to be famous, don’t you? Thought so. Get it done! Your future depends on it.
DraftDay Update
$109 Field of Dreams
Monday brought us some of the most insane scores I have ever seen. Starting with the $109 Field of Dreams, where AngryFish (403) took advantage of the video game numbers posted by Lonnie Chisenhall, who had THREE home runs, NINE RBIs, and an unprecedented 135 fantasy points. Following behind were Keith3101 (354), Notorious (347), mattgoody (315), and hoop2410 (293).
$15 Knuckleball
Last night’s Knuckleball was off the charts as well, as AngryFish (403) took down the second leg of the DraftDay Triple Crown and the $500 first prize with the same lineup. SundayFunday (391) had himself a nice little Monday, followed by Miket_2412 (355), and Keith3101 x2 (354).
$3.30 Wiz Walkoff
AngryFish (403) managed to do what California Chrome couldn’t, taking down the Triple Crown last night with a remarkable lineup that also included Michael Brantley (70), and three others with at least 42 fantasy points. A familiar foe was found in second, as bigrobnutz (396) “placed” (Get it?), followed by SundayFunday (391), esnyd10987 (379), and Justind0301 (367).
Coming Up Today
The Fantasy Sports Live Podcast isn’t the only content you should check out today. Dooger is here with his PGA picks for the upcoming golf action. Josh is here as usual, bringing you his incredible plays in his Picks to Click article. Last night he touted Michael Brantley, as well as the top pitching duo (Stephen Strasburg and Charlie Morton). If you live for the weekend, you’d better start paying attention to the plays that Josh brings.
