Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays
Last night’s fantasy baseball top daily plays got the job done, but it wasn’t spectacular.
In head-to-head and double-up contests I was safe, but there just wasn’t enough power under the hood to leave a lasting mark on any larger tournaments. That’s okay though, as baseball is a steady, daily grind. I’m confident that if you keep plugging away the big win will be right around the corner for you! Let’s dive into tonight’s fantasy baseball top daily plays and get the job done!

Daily Fantasy Baseball Weather Alert
No weather concerns today!
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - Pitchers
Alex Wood $12,000 - Pitchers are thin tonight, and I love this young hurler’s strikeout potential.
Charlie Morton $12,200 - I don’t love this pick, but you have to select someone and I don’t want to pay top dollar. Why not the guy likely to be missing Padres bats?
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - Catchers
Punt - Tonight’s offerings don’t excite me too much. I like Buster Posey and Yadier Molina if I have to choose, but I’ll likely go cheap here.
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - First Basemen
Chris Davis $11,900 - The matchup tonight against Jake Peavy is a little tougher than last night, but there’s no way around this price tag.
Brandon Belt $11,200 - I’m a big fan of Belt tonight against Aaron Harang. He’s been smoking hot recently.
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - Second Basemen
Matt Carpenter $10,900 - As long as the Cardinals face bad right-handed pitching at Coors Field it’s difficult to ignore Carpenter.
Dustin Pedroia $9,800 - At home against an average left-hander is exactly where I want to be selecting Pedroia.
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - Third Basemen
Miguel Cabrera $12,000 - We’ve been sort of waiting on him to look healthy once again, and after donging again last night it’s safe to say he’s at least feeling well enough to insert into your lineups. At this price I don’t care who the pitcher is.
Evan Longoria $8,300 - Whenever Longo is facing off against an average lefty it’s time to take notice. This price tag is fairly ridiculous.
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - Shortstops
Jose Reyes $8,200 - At this price your only other choice is…..
Troy Tulowitzki $8,000 - ….this guy, who happens to also be priced crazy low.
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - Outfielders
Andrew McCutchen $11,600 - For this salary I don’t really care who the opposing pitcher is. Cutch is a legitimate MVP candidate this season, and can post fantasy points in a variety of ways.
Matt Holliday $11,400 - Really hard to say no to Holliday at this cost at Coors Field. Tyler Chatwood isn’t very good, and we saw what Holliday is capable of last night.
Wil Myers $9,600 - There are simply few better options than Myers when it comes to making lefties pay.
Khris Davis $8,700 - Davis makes a solid buy against a weak lefty. He’s always got large dong potential.
Fantasy Baseball Top Daily Plays - Mini-Stacks
Blue Jays, Giants, Brewers, Red Sox, Cardinals, Rays.
