Fantasy Football Injury Report - Week 11
Some key inactives highlight the fantasy football injury report for week 11!
It has been a tumultuous NFL season to this point, with star players dropping like flies each week. Listen, I know you’re busy and can’t keep up with every single piece of information that comes out regarding an injury. That’s where I come in. I’ll break down the latest injury news for each game so that you won’t have to build your lineups in fear of the dreaded “Q” designation. Let’s kick things off with the 1 P.M. Eastern Games:
Texans at Browns
OUT: Arian Foster (groin) - Foster WILL NOT play today. Alfred Blue will get the start in his place.
OUT: Jordan Cameron (concussion) -Cameron is also out this week, and the Browns fear that he may not play again this season.
Vikings at Bears
PROBABLE: Kyle Rudolph - Rudolph looks like a “GO” for today, and draws an enticing matchup against a Bears team that is among the worst in the NFL at defending TEs.
PROBABLE: Martellus Bennett, Brandon Marshall (ankle) - It looks like both will play, but we have seen this before. Marshall may play even if he isn’t 100%. I’m staying away from the situation, but he makes for an interesting GPP play if he goes.
Falcons at Panthers
PROBABLE: DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart (foot, ankle)- Both of Carolina’s running backs are on track to play today. The matchup is great, but the production is hard to predict in the Carolina backfield.
QUESTIONABLE: Devin Hester, Harry Douglas (ankle, foot) - The Falcons expect to have both players available today, despite the questionable tags. Neither holds much value in DFS regardless. If Douglas doesn’t play for some reason, give Julio Jones and Roddy White a slight bump.
Seahawks at Chiefs
QUESTIONABLE: Marshawn Lynch (calf) -Early indication says that the Seahawks anticipate Lynch will be on the field today. If he sits out, Christine Michael and Robert Turbin get huge upgrades, with the advantage to Michael.
GAME-TIME DECISION: Anthony Fasano (knee) - DFS players everywhere would rejoice if Fasano sits this one out. Industry darling Travis Kelce would be the benefactor if Fasano doesn’t suit up. Monitor this situation closely.
Broncos at Rams
OUT: Ronnie Hillman (foot) - This is a difficult situation where many players have already invested heavily in CJ Anderson. Montee Ball will likely get some work as well, and you can never rule out Juwan Thompson. Ball makes for the deepest of deep GPP plays.
Bengals at Saints
OUT: Khiry Robinson, Pierre Thomas (arm, shoulder) - Thomas was a late scratch, as it looked for a while as if he would play. With both players out, Mark Ingram once again will be the bell cow, and makes for a tremendous play against the Bengals who have been terrible against the run.
OUT: Giovani Bernard (hip) -Bernard will sit out once again with a hip pointer that has caused him to miss two weeks already. Fire up Jeremy Hill once again against a beatable Saints front seven.
Buccaneers at Redskins
OUT: Doug Martin (ankle) - Obviously you weren’t playing Martin anyway, but it gives us a little more clarity in the murky Tampa Bay backfield. Charles Sims is likely the guy you’ll want to target this week, not Bobby Rainey.
4 P.M. Eastern Games
Lions at Cardinals
OUT: Reggie Bush (ankle) - Bush will be INACTIVE for today’s game in Arizona, and while the Cardinals run defense has been very stout. Theo Riddick has become a weapon in the passing game. Look his way for a cheap RB in GPPs.
Monday Night Football
Steelers at Titans
OUT: Delanie Walker (concussion) -The Titans only reliable threat in the passing game will not play Monday Night. Every other weapon in the passing game is a GPP-only option.
