Fantasy Sports Live Podcast 9-22-14
Today’s DFS podcast is ready to put in work.
Week 3 in the NFL is in our rear-view mirror, and that means daily fantasy baseball once again takes center stage. It can be difficult to shift focus so rapidly, so Justin and I talk a little bit about the reasons to continue toughing it out through baseball’s final week. There’s more money to be made, for a variety of reasons, than most would think. With all of the winnings in new daily fantasy football player’s accounts, there are many opportunities to play less experienced competition. See it through and make sure you still have your daily fantasy baseball grind on for the final week of the regular season!
Taking a look at this weekend’s featured winners, we had quite a few new faces on the top of the college fantasy football leaderboards. Congratulations to those folks, and all of our featured daily fantasy baseball winners from Friday night.
Looking at tonight’s weather concerns, it seems as though the daily fantasy baseball gods have blessed us. There are no weather concerns to speak of, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen a zero percent chance of rain for every game before, during, and after the game window. Tonight’s Vegas odds look fairly chalk, and there won’t be much in the way of contrarian edges to be gained.
Lastly, Justin and I talked about Josh Shepardson’s Picks to Click. The Five Guys I chose to target from his article were Nick Tropeano, Miguel Montero, Josh Donaldson, Jhonny Peralta, and Avisail Garcia. Justin feels strongly about Andrew McCutchen and Derrick Holland this evening, as they were his Two Cents he added in. Make sure you consider all those players for your daily fantasy baseball lineups.
See you tomorrow for another DFS Podcast!
